5:15 AM           Hampton Roads Staff and Guardians arrive at the Hampton Roads Departure point (Mariners’ Museum 100 Museum Dr, Newport News, VA 23606; off J Clyde Morris Blvd and Avenue of the Arts)

5:45 AM             Hampton Roads Veterans arrive/assemble at the Hampton Roads Departure Point (Mariners’      Museum), check-in, and meet their assigned Guardian.

5:45 AM             Hampton Roads Veterans, Staff and Guardians are served breakfast.

6:15 AM             Hampton Roads Departure Ceremony (Mariners’ Museum)

6:30 AM             Two chartered buses (Educational Travel Services) arrive at Mariners’ Museum

6:45 AM             Load supplies onto buses at Hampton Roads Departure Point

6:15 AM             Richmond Staff and Guardians arrive at Richmond Departure Point (VFW Post 9808 7168 Flag   Ln, Mechanicsville, VA 23111).

6:30 AM             Richmond Veterans arrive/assemble at Richmond Assembly/Departure Point (VFW Post 9808                           7168 Flag Ln, Mechanicsville, VA 23111), check-in, and meet their assigned Guardian.

Richmond Veterans, Staff and Guardians are served breakfast.

7:00 AM           Under the direction of the respective Bus Captains – Hampton Roads Veterans and Guardians load buses and prepare for departure.

7:15 AM              Hampton Roads Buses depart for the National Museum of the Marine Corps

7:15 AM              Richmond Departure Ceremony (VFW Post 9808)

7:30 AM             Two chartered buses (Winn Transportation) arrive at VFW Post 9808

7:40 AM           Under the direction of the respective Bus Captains – Richmond Veterans and Guardians load buses and prepare for departure.

8:00 AM             Richmond buses depart for the National Museum of the Marine Corps (74.1 miles)

9:30 AM             All buses arrive at the National Museum of the Marine Corps

10:15 AM           Distribute lunches. When we reload – WE DO NOT NEED TO EAT THEM NOW

10:35 AM           Load buses and prepare to move to the National World War II Memorial.

10:50 AM           Depart for the National World War II Memorial (32 miles)

11:40 AM            Arrive at the National World War II Memorial. Rendezvous with police escort.

12:30 PM           Load buses and prepare to move to the Korean War Veterans
Memorial/Vietnam Veterans Memorial

12:50 PM           Depart for the Korean War Veterans Memorial/Vietnam Veterans Memorial

1:00 PM             Arrive at the Korean War Veterans Memorial/Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Pinning ceremony for ALL Vietnam War Veterans at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial

2:50 PM             Load buses and prepare to move to Arlington National Cemetery

3:10 PM             Depart for Arlington National Cemetery (2.8 miles)

3:30 PM              Arrive Arlington National Cemetery

4:00 PM              Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Fredericksburg) for dinner

5:05 PM              Depart for Knights of Pythias Lodge 22 (60 miles)

6:30 PM              Arrive at Knights of Pythias Lodge 22

7:45 PM             Load buses and prepare to move to Hampton Roads/ Richmond Departure Point

8:00 PM             Depart for Hampton Roads (122 miles) / Richmond (53 miles) Departure Point

9:00 PM             Buses arrive Richmond Departure Point – Veterans and Guardians unload and

farewell (friends and family picking up Veterans should arrive NLT 8:30 PM)

10:00 PM            Buses arrive Hampton Roads Departure Point – Veterans and Guardians unload and farewell
