DESCRIPTION:An opportunity has emerged to capture the voices of our veterans and military families in the form of stories through the StoryCorps Military Voices Initiative! Many of these stories will be enshrined in the Library of Congress for posterity’s sake. \nCharlie Palumbo\, StoryCorp’s Manager for the Military Voices Initiative\, is hosting a series of Lunch and Learns in the Hampton Roads area May 15-17\, 2024 to enlist ambassadors from veteran service organizations and installation partners to get the word out to the military community. Attendees will be provided with detailed information about StoryCorps as an organization\, the importance of capturing these voices through this initiative\, and of course…lunch. \n“The Military Voices Initiative provides a platform for veterans\, service members\, and military families to share their stories.
